Stationary unloading machine at Mondi Štětí in operation

Mondi Štětí, Czech Republic is one of the first end customers of Innofreight – since 2005 wood chips have been transported with Innofreight block trains in connection with mobile unloading forklifts. Through the newly developed stationary unloading machine in 2017, the long cooperation between Mondi and Innofreight could been further strengthened.

On February 22, 2018 Innofreight conducted a performance test on the machine at Mondi Štětí. The test ran smoothly with an average time of 2 minutes per container including the shunting. The new technology allows Mondi to significantly increase volumes and improve safety at work while reducing operating costs (operating resources, maintenance, etc.).

We would like to thank all those involved for this great achievement and, above all, Mr. Tomáš Wojnar, lumber manager Mondi Štětí. He is the founder of the idea of a new wooden yard in Štětí and has been successful in implementing it.

Together with ČD Cargo, Mondi and Wood & Paper we will celebrate the successful implementation. At the celebration, the new set with labeling will be placed on the market by all parties involved.
