Our Smart GigaWood is the number one choice when it comes to timber transports and allows 30 percent more payload compared to conventional timber wagons. Our transport options for wood chips are also optimized. At Mondi's wood yard in Štětí (CZ), you can see live what our equipment makes possible, and one of our stationary unloading systems is also being used successfully.

Smart GigaWood Sweden

Our SlurryTainer is a tank container in which we transport lime milk (slurry). Slurry is an important filler for the paper industry, where it serves as a coating pigment.

Light and flexible - for rail and road. For greater flexibility, we also rely on intermodal transport. With City Logistics Containers, we improve the quality of supply in cities. Transported are mainly construction materials, but also hazardous waste.

Our Smart GigaWoods transport timber from 2-12 meters. Ever wondered how loading and unloading actually works? In this video you can see the entire process in fast forward. The wagons were loaded in Příbram (CZ) and unloaded one day later in Retz (AT). In contrast to conventional wagons, the Innofreight Smart GigaWood can transport up to 30 percent more timber.

100 InnoWaggons for SŽ Cargo
We rely on long-standing partnerships and one of these is with the Slovenian state railroad SŽ Cargo. This cooperation began with the delivery of 100 InnoWaggons and this milestone was celebrated with a locomotive in Innofreight colours.

Innoduler - Production

On September 16, 2021, we officially opened the most modern container production in Europe. Innoduler produces the entire range of Innofreight superstructures and ensures the highest quality. 350 international guests were part of the event and took the opportunity for a look behind the scenes.
Stationary unloading machine for Třinecké Železárny - Moravia Steel
The stationary unloading machine enables the unloading of up to 5 million tons of iron ore per year, with approx. 840 tons being unloaded in one hour. Our stationary unloading machines ensure smooth operation all year and provide a safe workplace. Work is done from an air-conditioned cabin – no noise, no dirt and only one person operating the joysticks, which control the entire system.
Gypsum transport - intermodal and electric
Our CityLogistics container optimizes the transport between the Knauf mine in Tragöß (AT) and its headquarters in Weißenbach bei Liezen (AT). The containers are loaded at the mine and transported to the freight station in Kapfenberg with electric powered trucks. From Kapfenberg, they go to Weißenbach by train. A great project to show the strengths of combined traffic.
DRI transport and unloading for climate-neutral steel production
DRI on rail – together with ArcelorMittal and DB Cargo, a test transport of DRI (direct reduced iron) was successfully carried out for the first time. The high-quality DRI was transported from Hamburg to the Eisenhüttenstadt steelworks in our DryTainers and unloaded there in a stationary unloading machine. The unloading went without any problems and confirmed that the system works smoothly. Here you can see how this transportation works.
Smart GigaWood Round & Sawn
The Round & Sawn system is characterized by 2.5-meter-long stanchions and thus enables efficient log transport. A 2×45 ft InnoWaggon with the Round & Sawn attachment can transport 120 solid cubic meters of logs – 25 percent more than conventional wagons. For sawn timber, up to 191 cubic meters fit on a double wagon. The maximum payload of 144 tons is the same as for the Smart GigaWood 5×5 system.
