Sales Representative (m/f/d) – Transport Logistics/Rail Freight Forwarding

Innofreight has been successfully developing innovative wagons, containers and unloading systems for rail freight transport for more than 20 years. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated sales representative (m/f/d) for our Transport Logistics department, who can demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and solution-oriented negotiation skills.
Your area of responsibility
- Development of bespoke logistics projects and transport concepts, including cost calculations and quotation preparation
- Strategic procurement of freight space on the open market and through partner networks
- Conducting contract negotiations with rail operators, freight forwarders and service providers
- Close collaboration with internal departments, external partners and public authorities to ensure smooth operations
- Active market monitoring and competitive analysis to identify and tap into new business opportunities
- Proactive management and strategic expansion of the existing customer base, as well as the acquisition of new customers
- Rapid problem-solving in emergency management in close coordination with the operations department
Your profile
- A completed qualification in freight forwarding, logistics or transport management (e.g. freight forwarding clerk) or a comparable qualification
- Several years’ relevant professional experience in rail logistics, transport logistics or intermodal transport
- A thorough understanding of logistics processes, operational procedures and transport planning
- Analytical mindset, strong focus on solutions and the ability to keep a clear head even in stressful situations
- Business fluency in German and very good English skills for international communication
- You combine strong communication skills and assertiveness with a genuine hands-on approach and decisiveness

We offer an annual gross salary on a full-time basis starting at €42,000.00 (based on the collective agreement for freight forwarding and logistics), with a willingness to pay above the standard rate for candidates with relevant experience and qualifications.
