Controller (m/f/d)

Innofreight has been successfully developing innovative wagons, containers, and unloading systems for rail freight transport for more than 20 years. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated Controller (m/f/d) to start immediately, who will serve as a competent bridge between our departments and help shape our financial planning with foresight.

Your area of responsibility

  • Financial Planning & Controlling: Actively shaping the entire budgeting process to ensure transparency and quality in financial planning.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Preparing and refining meaningful reports, as well as conducting in-depth analyses of variances between target and actual figures.
  • Project Controlling: Taking responsibility for project controlling and actively contributing to the further development of controlling tools and systems (including Excel, BMD, Lucanet, and Power BI).
  • Interface Function: Supporting business units with financial issues, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization, and deriving and recommending concrete measures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Your profile

  • Completed business administration training with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in controlling
  • Very strong MS Excel skills (e.g., complex formulas, data modeling, or pivot tables)
  • Good written and spoken English skills for an international or modern work environment
  • Strong affinity for AI-powered solutions and modern tools for the efficient automation of controlling processes
  • Practical experience with systems such as Lucanet or Power BI; experience with BMD is a major plus
  • Strong analytical skills, the ability to grasp concepts quickly, and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work

We offer an annual gross salary on a full-time basis starting at €42,000.00 (based on the collective bargaining agreement for logistics and freight forwarding), with a willingness to pay above the standard rate for candidates with relevant experience and qualifications.
