Technical service assistant / wagon supervisor (m/f/d)

Innofreight has been successfully developing innovative wagons, containers and unloading systems for rail freight transport for over 20 years. To expand our team in Saarlouis/Dillingen, we are currently looking for a technical service assistant / wagon inspector (m/f/d).

Your area of responsibility

  • Technical handover and return of wagons and superstructures from manufacturers or customers
  • Professional assessment and documentation of damage to freight wagons and superstructures
  • Technical inspection of the operational and roadworthiness of wagons and superstructures
  • Assessment of the maintenance condition and rectification of minor/minorest damage, as well as implementation of remedial measures
  • Undertaking of ECM-3 activities
  • Supporting and advising customers on loading onto our wagons and carrying out trial loadings and transport
  • Training and instructing staff from customers and service providers in the operation of freight wagons and superstructures
  • Assistance with investigating the causes of, tracking down and rectifying irregularities on freight wagons
  • Contributing to the technical design of new, innovative superstructures

Your profile

  • Technical training and professional experience as a carriage master
  • Knowledge of the relevant regulations, the AVV, and experience in operational services
  • A responsible, independent, meticulous, customer- and goal-oriented approach to work
  • A friendly, engaging manner, initiative, and reliability
  • Cost-conscious thinking and behavior, ability to work in a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of French
  • Willingness to travel extensively

We offer a gross monthly salary on a full-time basis starting at € 3,000, with a willingness to pay above this rate for candidates with the relevant experience and qualifications.
