Specialist (m/f/d) for Certification & Vehicle Engineering (Rail)

Innofreight has been successfully developing innovative wagons, containers and unloading systems for rail freight transport for over 20 years. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a specialist (m/f/d) to join our team in the area of type approval and vehicle engineering.
Your area of responsibility
Regulatory Compliance & Certification Management
- Researching and applying relevant standards, guidelines and legal requirements
- Assisting with vehicle type-approval
- Acting as a liaison between type-approval, vehicle engineering and operations
- Collaborating with suppliers and external partners
Vehicle Engineering (Rail Vehicles)
- Supporting the technical assessment and analysis of rail vehicles and components
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Acting as a liaison between production, operations and specialist technical departments
- Assisting with audits (suppliers, production, etc.)
- Supporting wagon acceptance tests and technical inspections
Your profile
- Completed technical training in the field of rail vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable discipline
- Experience or a sound basic knowledge of vehicle engineering (ideally in the rail sector)
- An interest in standards, regulations and technical contexts
- A structured, precise and independent approach to work
- Strong organisational skills and a keen willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and a confident manner when dealing with customers and partners
- German and English at C1 level
- Willingness to travel (approx. 30%, across Europe, depending on the project)

We offer an annual gross salary on a full-time basis starting at €42,000.00 (based on the collective agreement for freight forwarding and logistics), with a willingness to pay above the standard rate for candidates with relevant experience and qualifications.
