Brüning Group and inno4wood intensify collaboration

Since 2026, the Brüning Group and inno4wood GmbH have been combining their expertise to achieve efficient and more sustainable wood logistics by rail. With the Smart GigaWood for roundwood and, in the future, the WoodTainer system for transporting waste wood, this partnership is driving the shift of freight transport to rail.

Since 2026, the Brüning Group and inno4wood GmbH have been united by a successful partnership with a shared goal: to make timber transport efficient, sustainable, and future-oriented. A key focus of the collaboration is the rail transport of timber from the Czech Republic and Germany. Together with our partner, the rail operator CityRail, and other private railways, we reliably handle timber shipments to end customers in the timber industry.

The innovative Smart GigaWood is used for these shipments. The system enables efficient use of the available cargo space, thereby laying the foundation for high-performance and cost-effective timber transport by rail.

The partnership is set to be further expanded in the coming years. Another important step is the planned implementation of waste wood transport using the WoodTainer system with innovative rotary unloading technology. In this way, the Brüning Group and inno4wood are creating a modern logistics solution that not only makes timber transport more efficient but also contributes to the shift of freight transport to rail and to a more sustainable circular economy.

2026 was the starting point—together, we are developing the timber logistics of tomorrow.
