Innofreight and CityRail intensify their partnership

InnoWorld is a network of strong partners that is constantly growing. Together with the Czech railway company CityRail, Innofreight is advancing its role as a full-service provider in the form of a joint railway transport company.

The companies in the InnoWorld network transport 50 million tons of goods every year – and the trend is rising. Long established as a European partnership, Innofreight is constantly expanding its network of strong partners. One of these is the Czech railway company City Rail, which plays a leading role in timber transport. An important partner since 2021, this is now becoming a joint rail transport company – marking another step toward becoming a full-service provider for Innofreight. “The needs of our customers show that interest in us as a full-service provider is growing steadily. We would like to intensify our excellent cooperation with CityRail and, as a first step, develop it further in the Czech Republic,” says Innofreight owner Peter Wanek-Pusset. Transporting wood, a valuable raw material, in a sustainable manner requires high-performance equipment, comprehensive services, and a great deal of expertise. All of these ingredients can be found at CityRail.

The growing demand for biomass across Europe is giving this partnership additional momentum. For CityRail CEO Jan Hruška, who particularly values the innovative products, “this collaboration opens new doors.” After all, every member of InnoWorld always benefits from the expertise of its partners. It’s a formula for success that will also work in the Czech Republic and beyond.
