Legal Counsel (m/f/d) – Maternity leave cover

Innofreight has been successfully developing innovative rail cars, containers, and unloading systems for rail freight transport for more than 20 years. To strengthen our Legal Department, we are currently seeking a dedicated Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to fill a maternity leave position.

Your area of responsibility

  • Legal advice to all national and international group entities
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various contracts (e.g. supplier and customer contracts)
  • Legal support for relevant compliance issues (compliance with internal, external and legal requirements, in particular data privacy)
  • Legal support for M&A processes
  • Drafting of legal assessments and opinions
  • Interface and contact person for internal specialist departments (finance, sales, etc.) and external consultants
  • Preparation/support for court proceedings
  • Contract management
  • Support with administrative and organisational activities

Your profile

  • Completed degree in law
  • Strong understanding of overall business contexts
  • Several years of relevant professional experience as a corporate lawyer with a broad field of activity in a business context desirable
  • Very good IT skills in MS Office and BMD
  • Business fluent German and English (spoken and written)
  • Independent, structured and accurate way of working
  • Negotiation skills and assertiveness
  • Networked and solution-oriented thinking and presentation of complex issues

We offer an annual gross salary on a full-time basis starting at €50,000.00, with a willingness to pay more depending on qualifications and experience.
