Innofreight Containers in Usage for Steel Industry Logistics!

For transporting heavy bulk goods (building materials, coal, ores) Innofreight developed XL container!

For the first time, the new containers are used by Trenitalia-Cargo and Inrail for company Lucchini. This container type perfectly supplements the XXL and XS types.

In shuttle traffic, into one direction coke is transported and into the other - iron ore. The paired traffic in combination with the fast rotary container unloading in steel factories creates a very good cost-performance level for Lucchini and for the participating railway companies.

It is planned this year to use the new container type for transporting building materials.
