New containers at Innofreight – innovations for 2010

2009 was a very successful year for Innofreight despite the global economic crisis; on average, 95% of the whole equipment was in use.

Innofreight celebrates this with 2 special containers - Märklin will produce these containers in 2010 as H0 models.

For 2010 Innofreight plans to bring new container types to the market. For transporting heavy bulk goods, such as, iron ore or coal, Innofreight has developed a new 20ft container. With the volume of 39m³ and tare-weight of 2,500kg the cargo load per container is 21t on the track-class D. These containers will be used for the first time in Italy from February 2010 on.

The new 30ft AgroTainer XXXL has been developed for transporting moisture-sensitive bulk goods and palletized goods for our long-standing customer and partnerAgrofreight. This new container is impressive because of its flexibility and low tare-weight of 4t.
