First transports with Innofreight XL containers in Slovenia for Knauf!

At the beginning of January 2012, the transports of FGD-gypsum from Slovenia for Knauf in Weißkirchen (A) were started!

Innofreight Container System is the backbone of the supply of raw materials for the production of various gypsum products. The transports are carried out in the proven form by ÖBB-RCA.

This year, extensive infrastructure investments for the expansion of rail facilities are planned at Knauf to increase the amount of freight by rail.

Knauf relies on Innofreight technology. The system has been proven well in harsh winter.

An application of this container technology at other Knauf sites is under discussion.
